Leading a double life can sometimes be a very dangerous affair; especially when both involve hunting down criminals. By
day, Jordan McAdam works as a police officer taking down human outlaws; while, during the night Jordan becomes a
vigilante determined to rid the world of all evil demons that prey on the innocent. Five years ago, Jordan wasn’t aware

called the Shadow Destroyers. Their mission is to hunt down and demolish all evil demonic beings. During his latest
assignment Gage gained more than he bargained for while tracking his prey, he happened upon none other than his ex-
lover/partner Jordan McAdam fighting his demon. Yikes! Because of the dangers that followed him on a continuous
basis in his line of work, Gage decided not to contact Jordan and to let her go on believing that he was dead; but, now
that she is standing right before him all the feelings that Gage had buried deep within resurfaced with a force. This time
Gage isn’t willing to walk away from the woman who stole his heart so long ago.
Unbreakable is Book One in Sydney Somers’ Shadow Destroyers series and what a wonderful introductory story
for what looks like a very promising saga. The plot was jam-packed with non-stop action and a super suspenseful mystery
that kept my mind totally intrigued until the very end. From the heart-stopping intro to the dramatic conclusion, there was
never a dull moment to be found in Unbreakable. In addition to the highly intense plot, I also liked the passionate
interaction between Jordan and Gage. Here was a couple that had love, then lost and found love again. However, the
highway towards a second chance at love is not an easy traveled path; especially for Gage. Nevertheless, the chemistry
between the two-some was undeniably hot. I can’t wait to get my hands on Ms. Somers’ next electrifying installment
within this thrilling series.
