Existing in a world that has lost its luster, Zoe Alexander is curious when she receives an invitation filled with currency
for a personal meeting.  Barely making ends meet because of the low wage job she currently works, Zoe takes a
chance and decides to see who is willing to pay her to show up.

Doctor, the man behind the summons, wants Zoe to become part of an experiment he’s currently working on.  There
are only a few basic rules that come with her participation and she is welcome to leave at anytime.  The study offers
her full anonymity from the other subjects but she will not be able to ask questions about anything that goes on in
the study.  Convinced she is being sucked into some pervert’s voyeurism fantasies that will most likely escalate as the
experiment continues, volatile emotions are ignited in Zoe that have been long buried.  Anger and frustration cause a
volatile eruption which results in the emergence of a new Zoe.  This Zoe has a talent and ability to touch people in
ways they will never forget.  After her personal awakening, Zoe is unwilling to remain uninformed and wants answers
from the only man who is able to provide them, the Doctor.

From the overpowering intellect of a man who weaves tales filled with inconceivable magnetism, Elliott Mabeuse’s
latest creation left me simply amazed.  It is an orgasmic bevy of mental stimuli that caused me to smolder.  Using a style
of writing that went above and beyond just basic sexual acts, Mr. Mabeuse was able to take me on a journey of
erotic bliss via the flaws of his heroine and her eventual rebirth.  The mind play between the Doctor, who initially had
all the power with his total dominance of the experiment, and Zoe, the student, is fascinating to read as it plays out.
A broken woman with a torn soul is soon reformed into a compelling and passionate lover with self-assurance to
spare.  Beauty and sexual appeal with its own definite attractiveness becomes mute under the spotlight of self-
awareness.  The Doctor and Zoe tackle themselves and each other on a level that exceeds interaction normally
reserved for life long lovers.  Influenced by an ever-mounting hunger, their connection soon spills outside the
experiment.

I love books that stimulate my body but what I find really irresistible about
The Experiment is its power to get
inside my mind and play it like a well-tuned piano.  This was romantica at its best, showing crucial escalation in an
intimate relationship can be the most powerful of aphrodisiacs.
