determined to find out everything there is to know about her. He wants to make her his, and nothing will stand in his way.
Cassie will be his, even if he has to wait patiently to gain her trust.
Taking Chase is an exciting story full of intrigue and passion. This is the second book in The Chase Brothers
series. Its fast paced and brings the reader into the story from the first page. It’s an amazing sensation to read a book
and feel like you are right there with everyone you read about.
Cassie is emotionally scarred, but what I enjoyed so much about her was her determination to get on with her life despite
the tragic life of abuse she left behind. It is amazing to see her grow confident and learn to take chances again. I
especially liked the way all the Chase family takes her under their wings and makes her feel like one of them. As a matter
of fact the entire community is behind Cassie which makes for a very loving and enjoyable life for her.
Shane is a dynamic man who is not only big and handsome, but also gentle and loving. I found the way he brings Cassie
into his life and begins to love her to be such a wonderful experience. It made me think that life could really have people
like this in it. Those are the lucky people. Shane is not only tender and loving, but passionate and demanding as a lover
once they become lovers. Their intensity when they make love is combustible and ignites right off the page as you read
the book. I began to realise how all consuming their love for each other was and what would become a love for all time
because Shane was a man on a mission to make Cassie his. No one and nothing will stand in Shane’s way and that
makes for a powerful story.
I think anyone who reads this book will want to read everything in the Chase family series. It’s a story that grips you and
takes you for a ride that just doesn’t want to stop. I highly recommend Taking Chase. It’s a powerful love and even
better book.
