and come up with a solution to save Cade’s life.
Heavy tension keeps you on the edge of your seat from the first page of Standoff and refuses to let you go. The
complex pack relations mixed with the burgeoning mate relationship between Cade and Grace make for some especially
emotional moments as balance between pack and family is learnt by both. Cade is an exceptional alpha male, born alpha
with the power to control a pack with a few words his consuming need to love and protect his pack and mate make you feel
a strong bond with this intense male. Grace is a strong woman who is willing to sacrifice herself for the greater good, her
inner strength and ability to stand up to Cade will have you smiling even as you find yourself feeling a friendly closeness
with her.
Sex between Cascadia mates is always intense and Standoff is no exception Cade and Grace come together with an
instant love and lust that is astounding and extremely intense dragging the reader into their passion enveloping you in a
loving warmth that is made all the more intense by the emotions that swirl through them.
While it would be possible to read Standoff as a standalone you will receive much more enjoyment and understanding
of the characters and motives if you start the series at the beginning. With other Cascadia Wolves still looking for mates
and a whole new world to explore I can only hope that Ms. Dane isn’t finished with the fantastic Cascadia Wolves
series.
