of the Shadow is a fantastic addition to the Cattle Valley series. Shep is a strong man who knows exactly what he
wants in life, the amount of patience he displays in waiting for Jeremy to grow up is astounding as you are confronted
with his hard core emotional needs. Jeremy is young but with a core of steel that shines through in his contact with his
abusive father. The heat between Jeremy and Shep is explosive once they give into it, the depth of emotion between
them is enough to bring tears to your eyes. Out of the Shadow is quite possibly the most stand alone book I’ve seen
in this series so far, however Cattle Valley is such a wonderful series why wouldn’t you want to read them all.
