Lucy Kaplan is a very smart woman, she is working on a cure for cancer and she's just about got it nailed. With a new
research doctor joining their group you would think things could only get better. Imaging Lucy’s surprise when she finds
out the new doctor, Dashall Braden, is the boy she loved in college even after he took all the credit for Lucy's research.
With her research assistant Amy's help Lucy is set to knock Dash's pants right off, but will Lucy be able to accept a
little magical assistance to snare the man of her dreams?
With fun and laughter combined with a light hearted storyline Love Potion Number Sixty-Nine will keep you
giggling throughout. With Dash painted as both strong and smart, although not smart enough to see a diamond in the
rough. I found Dash to be an extremely sympathetic character, probably the only thing that made his actions excusable.
Watching Lucy grow enough to believe in the beauty she carried within was very empowering, if somewhat defeated by
her easy acquiescence after she believes Dash has once again stolen her research. With a few excited but rushed love
scenes I found Love Potion Number Sixty-Nine to be a fun read and a great way to fill a lunch break.
