When Allisandra discovers her mother was a priestess of the Lady, she is shocked but willing to follow the path her
mother had long ago laid out for her; to accept her sacred duty and become a priestess herself.  Attending the ceremony,
with her mother's old mentor Betina, to consecrate her as a priestess in front of the wild creatures of the forest is the
only way to honor her mothers request; that she becomes a priestess before her thirty fourth birthday as tonight,
Halloween, is her birthday.  Allie is surprised when two sexy men show up halfway through the ceremony to add their
blessing and shocked when the identical twins show her their special gift after the ceremony is completed; however the
bond she feels with them is almost irresistible and not confined to one or the other but shared equally between both.

Rafe and Timothy, twin werewolves are the current Lords of the Were, in charge of all shifters on their continent, it is
their position to offer their blessing at the consecration of a new priestess of the Lady and to offer her protection
afterwards.  After having waited so long Tim had given up on finding a mate, so realizing that Allie is not only his mate
but Rafe's too is a shocking revelation that Tim is not prepared for.  When Allie's life is threatened will Tim overcome his
hostility and rescue Allie?  Rafe recognizes their mate in Allie right away and unlike his twin doesn't even try to fight it
when the sexy priestess makes his wolf sit up and howl.  With his sexy new mate attracting allies of the most unlikely sort
for their battle, will the sensual alpha pair be able to overcome ancient prejudices to defeat an ancient evil they had
thought long extinct?

An enthralling tale of magic and passion set in a world so colorful you can see it form before your eyes.
Lords of the
Were
is a book that will definitely find a home permanently on your shelf.

The strength that Allie displays in accepting the changes to the world around her, not to mention she gets not one sexy
alpha laying claim to her but two, in her ability to trust the instincts that the modern world teaches us to ignore  she
becomes inspiring.  Tim's initial resistance of Allie as a mate made me want to smack him upside the head for his
stubbornness but once he accepted the inevitable, Tim's trust and love shine through so strongly it gives you warm
fuzzies.  While Rafe seems to be the more stable brother it quickly becomes obvious that he has some self confidence
and trust issues when related to his mate, however when Allie is threatened, Rafe willingly risks his life to defend her.

With Rafe and Tim working on expanding Allie's sexual boundaries and Allie quite willing to let them.  The sex scenes
sizzle with a heat that the pages can't restrain, singeing fingers and holding you fascinated with each new revelation.  With
a cast of secondary characters that will have you aching to love them, I can only hope that Ms. D'Arc plans to make a
series set in the exciting world of
Lords of the Were.

Allie is fulfilling her mother’s last wish and stepping into a world she has, up till her 33 birthday, had no clue existed. Her
mother was a priestess in an age old religion and died when Allie was very young. Allie was sent away for her own
protection and has grown up without the knowledge of her heritage. She receives a book her mother left her and finds
out she is also destined to be a priestess…which explains some of the strange things that have happened to her.

During her consecration ceremony, she meets twin wolves; one playful and one brooding. Little does she know, they are
destined to be her mates, for life. The two Alpha werewolves, brothers, are the leaders of the Were.

Lords Of The Were is the first book in the Were series; by Bianca D’Arc and it starts it off with a bang!  Allie has
to learn a lot in a short time and meets many people along the way, including the family she never knew she had, a were-
bear, a Fae knight who has been trapped for centuries and an unexpected ally in a vampire.

There is love, laughter and thrills as Allie gets to know her family, her mates and comes into her powers.
Lords of The
Were
was never boring; it starts on a moonlit night and just heats up from there. Allie and her mates are a little unsure of
themselves at first, especially Tim, who doesn’t like the idea that he has no choice in the mate that the Lady has chosen
for him. Rafe on the other hand is very eager to get to know Allie and is certain that given a little time, she will love them as
they will love her. Their relationship from the onset is hot and steamy, Rafe wastes no time in making Allie feel at home
with him and once Tim comes to his senses also follows suit.

Allie’s new-found powers are tested when her friend and mentor Bettina is injured and they gain allies that they never
expect, a Fae knight and a Vampire, to fight an ancient evil. I found all of the characters inspiring, especially the
supporting ones, who also have a surprise or two  up their own sleeves. With so many characters, sometime a book can
feel crowded and the main characters’ story tends to get lost. That never happened in Ms.  D’Arc’s book, she kept the
focus where it should have been, on the three main characters.

Their scenes together are tender, loving and hot enough to scorch the screen I read from, my only feeling is that there
are not enough scenes with just the three of them, but with so much happening in the story, you don’t really notice.
I highly recommend
Lords of the Were and will be waiting on claws for the next book in the series!
