is sure that her nights as a late night snack are about to end, question is does she still want them to?
Joe is shocked when he opens the door to find the sexy Doc Kristen waiting for him and she’s in a bad way too.
Offering to help her seems like the decent thing to do and although Joe has never had a primary donor he’s willing to
work on it with Kristen.Seeing the emotional devastation the previously confidant doctor is suffering Joe is determined
to get her cured, no matter the personal cost. If Kristen returns to normal Joe can never have her again, one slip, one
bite, one small prick and Kristen would find herself addicted once again.
The heavy sensuality that permeates Kristen’s Addiction combine with high levels of anxiety is very heart pounding from
the very first page. Kristen is a strong determined woman, sometimes too much so for her own good and while she has
mopey moments when, I just wanted to shake some sense into her, she does actively work to set herself straight. Joe is an
enigma wrapped in a sensual puzzle; his completely selfless acts are a big clue as to his feelings even if, like most alphas, he
has trouble verbalizing it. You get the idea that there was already simmering heat between Kristen and Joe before she
became a venom addict, however it explodes across the pages of Kristen’s Addiction bringing a flush to your cheeks
and a glint to your eyes.
With a whole vampire culture to explore I’ll be excited to see if Ms. Anderson decides to make a series set in the world of
Kristen’s Addiction.
