Funny and feisty Just Like A Dame will have you laughing hard enough to wet yourself. Combining an old fashioned
guy who uses words like “doll-face” and “dame” in reference to a woman with strong feminist ideals keeps things
entertaining. Watching Angel grow enough within herself to recognize that perhaps she was being a little oversensitive
with her beliefs and learn to compromise with Max was almost a real tearjerker.
I enjoyed this light contemporary novel and will look for more from Ms. Dobbs in the future.
