Jack Hershie is hoping that his lover, Charlie, can forgive him for the way he walked out on him last year. After receiving
a phone call informing Jack his ex wife was dead and his son was left all alone, Jack had no choice but to go. Jack has
returned with a petulant teenager and attempting to make his way back into Charlies heart, Jack is torn. How can he
decide which way to turn when both his lover and his son need him? Will Jack be able to find balance between the man he
loves and the child who resents him?
Charlie is used to being put on the shelf when something better comes along, even his parents were embarrassed by their
blind son; with Jack however, Charlie longs for more. For once, he wants to be someone his lover isn’t ashamed of,
someone that can be taken out in public rather than put on a handy shelf. When Charlie realizes that his whole life, so far,
has been a lie, will Jack be there to comfort the man he loves? Will Charlie once again find himself put on a shelf until his
love is once again convenient?
With the passion and conflict I’ve begun to expect in Ms. Lynnes’ books Hershie’s Kiss covers issues that none of
the rest of the series has hit on yet. Jack is a strong alpha male that really just wants to do what’s best for everyone
around him. His gruff manner hides a loving heart and when he has to choose between his son and lover you can
practically hear his heart shredding.
Charlie is a strong man even though he was emotionally abused by his parents, never letting his blindness hold him back
from doing what he wants this loveable man will soon own your heart. Watching as the heat between Charlie and Jack
transforms from lust to a deep and abiding love will bring tears to your eyes even as the heat makes you sweat.
Don’t read this book without reading the rest of the series, your just going to want to go back to the beginning anyhow
and those of you who started there will recognize the close knit group of friends and family that have gathered during the
series making each book of the Campus Cravings series a visit with old friends, and each new book is something to
eagerly look forward to.
