figure making her very easy to relate to. Michael is a strong alpha male, for all that he is human, his determination to
protect those around him ensuring he’ll have a place in your heart. The heat that Lyla inspires in Michael is enough to
leave you feeling singed. A fun and fabulous read Were What? will ensure itself a permanent place on your keepers’
shelf.

hold you enthralled. Jayda is a strong woman determined to recover from her broken heart with style, her ability to think
on her feet makes her very likeable. Cole is a strong alpha male and like most needs a smack upside his head to set it on
straight; his ability to love and the pain of his breaking heart is enough to make you want to make everything better for
this wounded wolf. When Cole and Jayda come together the sparks really fly but their ‘alone’ time is so brief the heat
doesn’t really have a chance to steam up the room. With a whole town full of were’s and the possibility of peace between
wolf and cougar I can only hope that Ms. Pierce intends on making this into a series.
Beauty is a Beast

of a shifter. Her heated encounter with Michael burns him a place in her heart. Only one problem, Nizhoni is already
married to the cruel sadistic leader of the coyote clan. Will Nizhoni be able to make peace with her past so that she may
claim Michael as her future or will she wallow forever without her mate in a world of hate and fear?
Beauty is a Beast struggles to hold your attention even while you’re aware of the potential of the plot. Nizhoni is
flighty, selfish and a bit dim but is supposed to be the clan medicine woman. Michael is still suffering from post change
trauma, even though Nizhoni changed at the same time and appears to be fully recovered. His ability to adapt and his
extreme protective instincts for those he loves are heart warming however. The sex between the pair is not a smooth
flowing part of the storyline and feels like it was shoved in after the completion of the rest of the storyline. Beauty is a
Beast is an interesting concept that unfortunately didn’t come to fruition.
Furry, Fluffy and Wild is a fun read, the first two books of the anthology flowing together easily even if the third
book is an awkward addition. A wonderful read for those times when a full length novel is to big for the time you have to
read, Furry, Fluffy and Wild is a delightful exploration of plus sized paranormals and the alphas who love them.
