Dani O’Rourke lives in the small town of Jamesville and owns and runs a small cleaning company.  Since her parents’ death,
Dani’s life has been devoted to raising her two younger brothers leaving her with little time for herself.  Her non-existent
social life is about to get a major jumpstart when Burke Black moves to the small town.  Burke, a millionaire escaping the
lonely rat race, has moved to Jamesville to plan for his new life.  But from the first moment he meets Dani his life begins to
change all on its own.  These two people from very different worlds learn about themselves and each other as they
discover love.

Discovering Dani by N. J. Walters is a sweet and well-written book.  The character development is great in this story.
Burke is a hard-nosed, untrusting man searching for an unknown element missing from his life.  The growth of his character
is part of the foundation of the story.  Dani is a mild mannered woman sacrificing many things in her
own life to keep her family together.  Her strong will and courageous spirit make her an enduring character who worms her
way into the heart of the reader.

The family interaction between Dani and her brothers display the inner workings of a tight-knit family unit.  The hard times
and pressure from the outside world have reinforced the sibling bond they share.  Patrick, Dani’s eldest brother, steps into
the role of protector when Burke and Dani’s relationship stumbles.  The road blocks this couple faces take many forms,
but one of the main issues is Cynthia James, a social snob determined to win Burke for herself.

N. J. Walters has penned a heart warming tale built on the bedrock of any good romance story -- love, trust, and
acceptance.  This is not an extremely sexual book, however.  This story focuses on Burke and Dani’s developing love
story.  The sexual elements are just the icing on the cake, so to speak.

I enjoyed reading
Discovering Dani and I look forward to N. J. Walters next book.

At the age of eighteen and after the death of their parents, Dani O’Rourke has solely raised her two younger brothers.
Not afraid of difficult work Dani quickly developed a trade to provide for her family.  Although money has been tight for
the past seven years since her parent’s death, Dani is very proud to own a small successful cleaning service and to share a
special relationship with her brothers.  All was well until Burke Black entered the picture.  Now, for the first time in her life,
Dani feels a strong sexual attraction for a man and she has no idea how to handle it.

Self-made millionaire Burke Black’s life flashed before his eyes, after a nasty automobile accident resulting in a near death
encounter .  Not wanting to continue living his current lifestyle, Burke decided to sell the majority of his business and
moved to a small town in Maine to recover and reevaluation his life’s direction.  Burke never expected to find the
unconditional love of a woman and the sensation of belonging to a family yet, he did with Dani and her brothers.  Will
Burke welcome his new found happiness with open arms or will he allow his past misgivings cloud his judgment forcing a
wedge between him and Dani?

Discovering Dani by N.J. Walters was truly a fantastic, heartwarming story.  Filled with love, heartache and deception,
Discovering Dani is sure to pull a few emotional strings from deep within.  Ms. Walters masterfully captured my
attention and firmly held it until the very end.  Not only was there a romantic love story between a man and a woman but,
also a developing affection for a family from a man who had never known such a thing.

Dani and Burke were independent, strong-willed individuals who were quick to jump to the wrong conclusion.  Yet, there
was no denying the love they shared for one another.  Although, the chemistry showcased between Dani and Burke was
brimming with passion, their actual sexual encounters were few and told in a vanilla fashion.  Don’t get me wrong!  Just
because their romance wasn’t overly erotic doesn’t mean that it was any less intimate.  As a matter of fact, I was greatly
turned on by the couple’s romantic interludes.

Readers, you will not want to miss out on the breathtaking start to Ms. Walter’s Jamesville series.  You are in for a
wonderful, magical treat!
