Bryn DePalo is a psychic best known for her work as a ghost exorcist.  She doesn't see herself as anything special, just
a person with a talent who helps those in need.  She responds to a call from a very distraught older woman needing a
ghost put to rest in her house, but her son chases Bryn  out of the house at knife point, running her right into a car being
driven by of all 'people' Death.

Yes, Death has decided to go on vacation choosing the name Atticus Denali with the persona of a gorgeous man.
Atticus only has 7 days for his vacation and when he accidentally hits Bryn he realizes he has just run over his life mate.
Bryn is the perfect woman for Atticus, they're both in the business of bringing peace to the dead and helping them move

on to the next plane of existence. With only 7 days there is no time to waste.

Atticus woos Bryn the old fashioned way, he takes her flowers, and ice cream after dinner.  Atticus realizes as he gets to
know Bryn that she is very interested in non-traditional sex and that kicks Atticus' libido into high gear.  Atticus is one
lucky 'Man' and Death has to make a decision soon.  He will never leave his bride.  Atticus' brothers who have taken over
the business while he is on vacation are determined to show him he can relax and enjoy Bryn while they handle the family
business.

Death's Courtship is a fun story.  Atticus is sexy and desirable, and the way he courts Bryn and makes love to her
really sets this story on fire and made my skin tingle as they brought each other to climax over and over again.  I also
enjoyed the possessive and compassionate sides of Atticus over Bryn.

If there's one person who understands completely what Bryn's life is all about it’s Atticus.  It’s so emotional watching
them deal with people dying and moving on to the next plane of existence.  They complement each other throughout the
story as Atticus took all of Bryn's emotional needs and made them his.  Also, the scenes between Atticus and his
brothers, as they show up periodically throughout the story, are extremely funny, lightening the tone of the story and
making it more enjoyable.  I was laughing and crying as I read
Death's Courtship and I felt that Atticus and Bryn were
a perfect match, both in and out of the bedroom.  What a terrific story to read.
