Crimson has really had a hard time of it lately, being murdered and awakening as a vampire tends to do that to you, to say
the least. Since arising she has struggled to control the beast within her, the fact that her twin sister Copper has
developed a mother hen complex and won’t leave her alone really hasn’t helped any. To top it all off she has finally met a
man she could learn to love, but with him have come strange dreams and now a lunatic, who believes that she shares her
sister’s power as a conduit, is trying to kidnap her. Things couldn’t possibly get any worse could they?
Rojo Rose is a vampire hit man; for a price he'll kill anyone for you, but only if he thinks they are deserving of the hit. He
has been offered a million dollars to kidnap a newly made vampire so he gets right to work because, even though he is one,
he has no love for vampires. However after meeting Crimson things change, for this feisty redhead is the first vampire he
has desired to have sex with. Will Rojo risk his own secrets being exposed to save the life of the woman who makes him
burn?
Once again Ms. Armstrong has started off another great story with an attention getting bang, the opening drama
draws you in until the fabulous story wrap itself around you in a wonderfully woven tapestry of ever changing scenes.
Crimson is a strong woman; however others lack confidence in her due to some bad decisions that she had made in the
past. Throughout the story Crimson proves that she has become more centered and able to deal with challenges that
are presented to her. At the beginning Rojo seems to be a bit of an ass but as the story progresses he proves to be
strong enough to face death and to protect the woman he cares for; which makes the times that these two come together
sweetly sensual and highly emotional. Crimson's Rose is an excellent third book in the Bloodlines series and I hope
Ms. Armstrong continues on with more books in this series in the future.
