For one unthinking act of hubris, excessive pride, Donal Bawn was cursed into the form of a hunchback and his
beautiful voice was transformed to a pale imitation of itself.  Forced to remain this way, when any person sees his
form or hears his voice, Donal flees into the forest where he can live as himself, in human form, but alone in isolation.
Drawn towards the setting sun and the sun goddess who lusts after him, Donal has no hope of breaking the curse.
For who could ever love him after seeing his monstrous form?

Blessed with beauty of form and voice, Ceoleen is denied her place in society due to the fear and jealousy of other
women.  With an angry outburst against this injustice Ceoleen brings down a curse on her head, to sing an
unfinished song blinded and alone in a fairy circle in the woods, until her one true mate comes and completes a task
that will release her from her circle.  When Donal hears Ceoleen’s voice he is drawn to her and easily frees her. But
only with the power of love will Ceoleen be able to see and hear with her heart and break the curse that holds
Donal and Ceoleen within its grasp.

I was absolutely enthralled from the beginning to the end of
A Song of the Sidhe.  Magic, love and adventure
wound together in a beautiful fantasy world which held me so fascinated that there was no putting this book down
for me.  If you like a book full of hot sex, and lots of it, the soft-core bondage combined with a silky seduction of
your senses is guaranteed to keep your breath short and your panties wet.  I loved watching Ceoleen and Donal
go from vain arrogant people, with little care for others feelings, to kind considerate people who only wanted to
make each other happy.  The journey was not easy for either of them as they had reasonable fears concerning trust
to work through and a lesson to teach each other about judging people with your heart and not your eyes or ears.
With a bad guy you love to loathe and a couple so sympathetic your heart will hurt for them
A Song of the
Sidhe
is a real winner to me and I will watch for more of Ms. Barrack's books in the future.
